Let me introduce myself. I was born in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. Later our family moved to Lancaster, where I graduated from Manheim Township High School. From there I went on to Moody Bible Institute and later to the University of Maryland - Baltimore County. My life can be described in three areas:
I began working in radio at WMBI, the Moody Bible Institute radio station in Chicago. After Moody, I became the Youth for Christ director in Berwick, Pennsiylvania; and later in LaPorte, Indiana. Youth for Christ is an area wide joint youth program supported by many churches in the area. I later worked at WRVB, Madison, Wisconsin (Wisconsin Radio Voice of the Bible), as Assistant Manager; WRBS, Baltimore, Maryland (Peter and John Radio Fellowship) Announcer and Salesman; WMHR, Syracuse, New York (Mars Hill Broadcasting Company as a founder, first manager and part owner). During my time at WRVB, WRBS, and WMHR, I preached in many churches as pulpit supply for vacationing pastors, and to promote the radio station. I also served, as pastor at churches in New York and Indiana, and as associate pastor and music minister in Arkansas, during which time I wrote and produced a Christmas Program including choir, actors and two video screens to portray the story told by the music. This was back before the time such things could be done easily with computers.
Please allow me to introduce you to the wonderful radio ministry which the Lord allowed me to be part of from its inception. Click here to see what the Lord had done! That one station is now six full powered stations and sixteen low powered stations across Upstate New York.
Also, I have delivered newspapers over a 73 mile route each day, worked as an investigator of workman's comp fraud cases, and helped build the inside of Dollar General Stores and do the initial stocking of the shelves; all while operating my farm just outside Seligmon, Missouri.
While I have written published articles over the years; and even was publisher of a monthly magazine for about five years; it was not until the Twenty-first Century that I began writing books. My first book was published in 2007; and as of this writing, I have completed the eighteenth and am working on my nineteenth. These books range from Bible study, to history, to science, and even a Pennsylvania Dutch cook book. In addition, I have now written a verse-by-verse study of each of the New Testament books.

In 2014 we sold everything, purchasing a small, one story ranch home with a very small yard in a new development in Centerton, Arkansas, not far from our farm. It is our retirement home. We are so busy in our retirement that I sometimes wonder how I ever had time to go to work. In addition to writing, we spend two days a week at our church food pantry distributing food, clothing, diapers, toiletries and more to needy people in our community. We are also kept busy taxiing family members and friends to medical and other appointments. We began downsizing in 2014, moving to a more convenient home with no stairs and a small yard which I can mow in twenty minutes. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN ALL OF LIFE:
Some years ago I sat in a church serivce, and during the sermon heard the rector say, "Those terms 'born again' and 'saved' do not appear anywhere in the Bible." I don't know what Bible he was reading, but my Bible, and all English translations, use those words often.Jesus was speaking to one of the most influential religious leaders of His time. He told Nicodemus, a member of the ruling Sanhedrin, "With all the earnestness I possess I tell you this: Unless you are born again, you can never get into the Kingdom of God" (John 3:3 LB). Jesus went on to explain, "For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. There is no eternal doom awaiting those who trust Him to save them. But those who don't trust Him have already been tried and condemned for not believing in the only Son of God" (John 3:16-18 LB).There are many books in the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, which outline the way to be "born again" or "saved." Consider these passages from the Book of Romans in the New Testament:* "For there is none righteous, no not one" (Romans 3:10 NKJV).* "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23 NKJV).* "But God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8 NKJV).* "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23 NKJV).* "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved" (Romans 10:13 NKJV).* "For all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13 NKJV).The question is: "Have you been born again; have you been saved?" The answer to that question will determine your destiry for all eternity. It is the most important question you will ever face during this lifetime; and putting off the decision could be an eternal disaster. For more information write: Don LaRose P. O.
